Girlsday 2019

For the first time, we opened our doors to girls of all ages and educational backgrounds on "Girlsday" at the 28th of march 2019. After a guided tour through our European Headquarter in Kirchheim near Munich, we presented some information around the field of the semiconductor technology and the different tasks of the employees at DISCO HI-TEC EUROPE. To show the girls which technical jobs women at DISCO perform, one of our female employees answered all the questions about her career in our company. After the theory the girls were totally excited to get into the clean room! Here, they were familiarized with the safety instructions before getting their protective clothing and touring the clean room. Of course the girls were also able to work on their own wafer, which they then took home as a souvenir.
